Big moves in Apple, Amazon, and mega-cap tech names today disguised what otherwise was a brutal selloff across the board, as many recent winners ran out of steam.

Also, we’re coming close to completing a false breakout in IWM.

Sometimes they “shake the tree” going into Thanksgiving week. Hopefully, that’s all this is and not a return to the bifurcated type of market environment we suffered through for most of the year.

Crypto continues to weaken – though as we’ll see below, Bitcoin bounced off support - and pot got absolutely slaughtered, putting the sector’s turnaround story at risk. Only a late-breaking story about legalization in Germany kept weeds stocks from completely falling off a cliff.

But in good news…

Take a look at the chart above in Apple, then print it out and frame it. When you read books on technical analysis, this is exactly what examples of winning trades look like.
